Welcome in Andorra
The kids were out of the house. We were a bit tired of the greenery in suburbans of Antwerp.

What do we do? Through some friends, my wife and I ended up in Andorra in 2013.
​
We decided to become residents here. That went fairly smoothly after the necessary administrative, medical and financial formalities.
Finding a nice house or apartment turned out to be a somewhat more difficult. Colors and flavors differ. Sun and shade in the mountains are a bit like day and night. After a long search, we first decided to rent an apartment to see if we could settle here. That worked out nicely, although the distance with the children and grandchildren turned out to be a bit difficult.
We became experts in WhatsApp and Skype years before Covid-19 hit.

A few years later, after many contacts with real estate agents, notaries and contractors, we found a place that we, after a nice renovation, transformed into our “Home Sweet Home”

In 2018, I founded Kaisju in Andorra as a social digital marketing and consulting company. That year the idea matured to convert our acquired experience, knowledge, and experience through Kaisju into a kind of “independent think tank” to guide people who want to settle in Andorra.
